Candle Care and Safety

Cachet Candle care and safety must be brought up for our guests to enjoy any candle they wish to burn. Please follow these guidelines to keep your party, aromatherapy session, or relaxing evening at home as safe as possible:
  • To prevent fire or personal injury, never leave a burning candle unattended!
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets.
  • Always burn candles on a heat resistant surface or in a suitable holder. Never burn on or near anything that will catch on fire.
  • Always burn candles in well-ventilated area away from drafts or vents.
  • Trim the wick to a quarter of an inch each time before burning your candles.
  • To extinguish flame the use of a wick dipper is recommended this will prevent soot buildup on the rim of the jar.
  • Keep the wick centered in the wax and the wax pool free of debris (wick trimmings, matches, etc.).
  • Limit the burn time to no more than four hours at a time and discontinue use when a half of an inch of wax remains at the bottom.
